I read an article in Saveur magazine many moons ago about all the incredible food you can eat during Ragbrai (pie, ice cream, fried chicken, etc.). Should be a super fun experience. Also, I’ve been meaning to try Bob’s pickle pizza. What’s your take?

That's honestly what got me in the first place. Riding a bike 500 miles? Perhaps. Eating a fresh homemade pie on a farmer's front porch? Sign me up!
I'll happily endorse all things Bob's, however I am very much not a pickle person. I know a few people who love it, though. Let me know if you try it!
If you put beans on deep dish, all these horrified British people would suddenly be all "let's hear him out, m8"

Also, that visual turned my stomach. Possibly worse than the Japanese deep dish.
